XL Holdings Berhad 199801012014(468142-U) (“XLHB”) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 on 28 August 1998 as a private limited company and was converted into a public company under the name of Xian Leng Holdings Berhad on 26 September 2000. XLB was successfully listed on the ACE Market (formerly known as Second Board) of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) on 5 December 2001, subsequently transferred to the Main Market (formerly known as Main Board) of Bursa Securities on 4 September 2003 and has the distinction of being the first company to do so in the fisheries sector. On 23 April 2021, XLB changed its name from Xian Leng Holdings Berhad to XL Holdings Berhad.
The company’s principal activities are investment holding and provision of management services. The Group’s business segments are categorized to foods, fish farming, merchandise, edible bird nest, seaweed cultivation, hatchery and pineapple.
XLB has fifteen (15) subsidiary companies namely Xian Leng Trading Sdn. Bhd. (“XLT”), Xian Leng Aquatic Merchant Sdn. Bhd. (“XLAM”), Xian Leng Aquatic (Kluang) Sdn. Bhd. (“XLAK”), Xian Leng Aquatic (Shah Alam) Sdn. Bhd. (“XLASA”), Xian Leng Greentech Sdn. Bhd. (“XLGT”), Xian Leng EBN Trading Sdn. Bhd. (“XLEBN”), XL Hatchery Sdn. Bhd (“XLHC”), XL Feedmill Sdn. Bhd. (“XLFM”), XL Food Processing Sdn. Bhd. (“XLFP”), XL Farming Sdn. Bhd (“XLF”) , XL Plantation Sdn. Bhd. (“XLP”) , XL Foods Sdn. Bhd.
